According to a press release, Career Café is holding an event on ‘Funding opportunities for startups/SME’. The event, scheduled on September 05, 2015, will take place at hubdhaka-city’s first co-working space located in Mirpur, at 4:30 pm. Mr. A. M. Zahed, Deputy Head of Business, SME Division, Bank Asia, will speak at the event.

Bangladesh is home to a fast growing startup eco-system. However, when we talk about startups, funding becomes one of the critical components of a healthy ecosystem. Unfortunately, we don’t have a structured funding culture in place yet. While it will take time to build one but event like this will definitely contribute to make it happen in faster pace.
