Founder Institute Comes To Bangladesh

[su_dropcap style="flat" size="5"]F[/su_dropcap]Founder Institute-a Silicon Valley based early-stage startup accelerator & global launch network has started its operation in Bangladesh recently. On August 6, 2014 the institute arranged a free event titled “Founder Night Out” at Gulshan, Dhaka. Founder Institute will also be holding two more events in the upcoming month, which are: “Making the Leap from Employee to Entrepreneur” and “Founder Institute Information Session” on September 2, 2014 and September 9, 2014 respectively. The arrival of the Founder Institute to Bangladesh is a big addition to the rapidly growing startup eco-system of the country.

The Institute believes that the best way to learn is “by doing” and is a strong proponent of a philosophy that asserts: “Great People + Expert training + Collaboration=exponentially better chance of success”.

How it works?

Founder Institute offers a four months long part time program which helps promising startup entrepreneurs to “learn by doing” and to launch a company through structured training courses, practical business building assignments and expert feedback from a large network of business mentors. The best part of the program is: in order to participate in this training program the founders will not have to quit from their day job. Thus it enables the founders to begin building a business around their ideas without putting their livelihood at risk. Within these four months of training, a founder needs to develop an engaging idea for a technology company, which is supported by the program mentors, plan out the business, and work on an offering, incorporate their company and have to complete all of the required assignments.

Bangladesh is passing through a very critical time in-terms of building an eco-system for start-ups and entrepreneurs. Founder Institute is indeed a critical addition to this ongoing development.
