ExchangeKori and Star Tech Launch Gaming PC Exchange Program

Gaming enthusiasts in Bangladesh can now trade in their old computers for high-performance gaming and graphics PCs through an interesting partnership between ExchangeKori Limited and Star Tech Limited.

The "Power Up Your Game" campaign marks the first time Bangladeshi consumers can exchange used laptops or desktops toward the purchase of new gaming systems, the companies announced.

How the exchange works

Customers can submit their device details through ExchangeKori's portal at www.exchangekori.com and browse Star Tech's selection of gaming PCs and components. The assessed value of their old device will be credited toward the new purchase, with the option to trade up to two used devices for one gaming PC.

Final device valuations are conducted at ExchangeKori's deal centers in Gulshan–Tejgaon Link Road, Mirpur, and Dhanmondi.

Meeting long-standing demand

"Customer demand for this service has existed for years, but we couldn't launch without sufficient product supply," said Rasel Ahmed, CEO of ExchangeKori Limited. "Star Tech has provided a robust product lineup that makes this possible. Gamers can now upgrade seamlessly while contributing to environmental sustainability through device reuse."

Md. Jahed Ali Bhuiyan, Managing Director of Star Tech Limited, emphasized the partnership's broader impact: "This collaboration delivers trusted exchange services and premium gaming hardware while creating new business opportunities. It's a cost-efficient pathway to technological advancement that supports Bangladesh's digital economy."

The initiative aims to accelerate PC upgrades within the gaming community while promoting sustainable consumption practices.
