BDcabs, a Bangladeshi Mobile App made by Asian Information Technology Limited (AITL), has been awarded as one of the Top 5 Startups in Eurasia from among 100 other selected startups by Startup Istanbul Competition 2015, said a press statement sent to Future Startup.
The statement also said, Etohum, an Istanbul based leading international fund and accelerator, found BDcabs as one of the most attractive technology companies in Asia for investment and finalized an investment deal to invest in “BDcabs”and signed agreement with Asian Information Technology Limited to extend BDcabs services to 50,000 vehicles in Bangladesh.
BDcabs is Bangladesh’s first Taxi/vehicle booking platform with mobile and web apps which was launched in Digital World in Feb, 2015. BDcabs connects licensed taxis and private hire vehicles with the passengers through BDcabs app and website from reputed companies like Toma Taxi who have long-term agreements with BDcabs.
The company informed that online bookings are growing rapidly as people are preferring to book cabs through mobile apps with growth of smartphone users in Dhaka. The BDcabs services can be availed from www.BDcabs.com or by downloading BDcabs app from Google Play Store for Android and App Store for iPhones/iPads.
