Tiger New Energy Secures Additional $1M from ADB Ventures

Tiger New Energy announced on 26th June that it has secured an additional $1 million investment from ADB Ventures, taking its total seed investment to $3.5 million.

This new funding from ADB Ventures joins a US$2.5 million seed funding round led by Wavemaker Partners in 2023, with participations from 500 TukTuks, Orvel Ventures, Humble, Penataran Management, Brett Barna, an undisclosed Singaporean Family Office, and an undisclosed angel investor.

Why it matters: The funding boost will accelerate the rollout of Tiger's battery-swapping technology for Bangladesh's 4 million+ rickshaws, addressing urban transportation challenges with eco-friendly solutions.
