Calling All Student Entrepreneurs: Tell Us About Your Startup

We are looking for student-run ventures (recent graduates are eligible) to feature at Future Startup. If you are a current student or a recent graduate, have started and running your venture/startup/non-profit, or know someone you admire, please let us know by filling out this form.

The selected student founders will receive several benefits: 1) extensive coverage from the Future Startup such as feature articles and interviews 2) access to Future Startup's network on request 3) and we plan to connect selected founders with incubators, mentors, and other opportunities in the future.

How do we decide who to feature?

We believe that part of our job is to facilitate the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Bangladesh to grow and then mature. Hence, we are size, sector, category, region, connection, and status-quo agnostic. We are not exclusively looking for already successful ventures. Early-stage ventures are encouraged to apply. More so when we are looking for student entrepreneurs. Anyone doing good work with passion and commitment can apply regardless of the stage of their ventures.

However, we look for four things: a great startup/venture, a great product/service, and a passionate team working hard behind it every day for a reason they believe in. We believe school is the best place to start chasing your dreams.

Our Student Entrepreneurship Program aims to bring provocative and inspiring stories of students taking brilliant initiatives from all over Bangladesh and help young founders access opportunities through telling their stories.

Why you should care

• Our stories are read by the most important people in the business and technology ecosystem in Bangladesh, the likes of entrepreneurs, investors, founders, policymakers, and people with deep curiosities in business and technology who can make a difference for your business.
• Our stories almost 70% of the time get followed up by further media coverage from newspapers like DS and DT.
• We give you a chance to reach out to early adopters and the most influential, affluent, tech-savvy but notoriously difficult to reach content consumers in Bangladesh.
• Our stories founders access opportunities from stakeholders and the market such as incubators, investors, supporters, etc.

Deadline

Our initial submission deadline has ended. However, we are accepting applications and will continue to accept until September 30th, 2021. Please fill out the form, we will assess applications on a rolling basis and get back to you.
