Applications For EMK Small Grant 2016 Are Open Now

Edward M. Kennedy Center for Public Service and the Arts, popularly known as EMK Center, is accepting applications for EMK Small Grant 2016. EMK, a partnership between the Liberation War Museum and the American Center of the U.S. Embassy Dhaka, is a non-partisan platform committed to open dialogue, informed action, individual and artistic expression, and personal and professional development.

Every year the center provides a small grant to a group of makers and doers to contribute positively to the society and also to realize their dreams of making things happen. [Disclosure: our co-founder Ruhul Kader is an EMK Grantee of 2015]

To apply for the 2016 grant, submit your application by 5PM, November 30, 2015.

Mohammad Ruhul Kader is a Dhaka-based entrepreneur and writer. He founded Future Startup, a digital publication covering the startup and technology scene in Dhaka with an ambition to transform Bangladesh through entrepreneurship and innovation. He writes about internet business, strategy, technology, and society. He is the author of Rethinking Failure. His writings have been published in almost all major national dailies in Bangladesh including DT, FE, etc. Prior to FS, he worked for a local conglomerate where he helped start a social enterprise.
