Markopolo.ai has secured $2m in seed funding led by Saudi-based Joa Capital to scale its AI marketing automation platform in Saudi Arabia, The Daily Star reports. The round also saw participation from Team Ignite Partners and undisclosed angel investors.
The company offers an AI agent suite including "Mark" for media buying, "Nabiq" for sales, and "DeepDive" for social listening, all designed to automate repetitive marketing and sales tasks.
Founded in 2022, Markopolo has received support from the Kingdom's National Technology Development Program to relocate its headquarters to Saudi Arabia. The firm has also been accepted into the Taqadam accelerator's 2025 cohort at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, securing a $140,000 grant, and recently won the AI Oasis Hackathon at LEAP 2024 in Riyadh.
Markopolo.ai had previously received investment from Accelerating Asia, Startup Bangladesh and DIVC.
