The Complete List Of Startups In GP Accelerator’s 4th Batch

Grameenphone Accelerator has announced its 4th batch of startups on August 9, 2017. The announcement came in a combined event, Demo Day for 3rd Batch and Media launch for the batch 4, took place at the GP House located in Bashundhara in the presence of regulators, investors, startups enthusiasts, and other stakeholders. AlterYouth: a C2C scholarship platform where anyone can give scholarships directly to students in government primary schools.

Foodtong: A homemade food marketplace that connects homemade food sellers with buyers through an app and website. You may see story of an almost similar startup, Cookups here.

Avijatrik: a Bangladesh-focused online community-based tourism platform and marketplace that connects travelers with trained and experienced local hosts to experience Bangladesh.

MARS: a specialised weather advisory service that can provide timely and precise research-based weather forecasts.

Amruddog: an easy-to-use Android-based ERP solution for SME businesses to manage their purchase, sales, stock, VAT, accounts, and CRM.

Launched in October 2015, GP Accelerator offers a four-month long program to a select batch of startups along with a BDT 12 lakh seed fund each for a 10% equity. The program, the most active of its kind in the country, claims that it has been designed to support early-stage, homegrown tech startups. Selected startups are provided with an intensive, rapid and immersive training over the four-month program along with other benefits such as workspace in GP House, contacts and mentorship.
