Styline Collection, the modest fashion startup based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, has been selected for the 3rd cohort of Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Centre (MaGIC) accelerator program, a four-month long business building program to prepare startups investment ready, supported by Malaysian Government.
The program, starting this month, helps startups to refine their products, acquire more customers, build relationships with mentors, founders, and investors in ASEAN region. Selected startups learn from world-class mentors and other founders and receives a monthly stipend, free accommodation and working space, and travel allowance.
Styline is the first startup to join MaGIC from Bangladesh. Founded in April 2015 by Khobaib Chowdhury, the startup went through a Founder Institute program in Dhaka and grew quickly. It sells modest lifestyle products such as hijab, abayas, shrugs, inner caps and related accessories online. In the past one year, the startup has been able to build a loyal base of young customers and maintain a steady growth. It has also been selected for FounderX program by Founder Institute.
