Things in the Dhaka’s startup scene has started moving forward slowly but steadily, we are getting a pretty steady flow of interesting startups. Sheba
The on-demand service platform is set to launch commercially today [July 29]. Founded by Adnan Imtiaz Halim, Sheba is one of the five graduate startups from GP Accelerator’s first batch.
The startup piloted its service in Mohakhali DoHS area for past couple of months and now offers services in 7 different locations in Dhaka. According to SimilarWeb data, the startup now draws around 5k monthly users.
Bhalothakun
The startup offers a host of health and beauty products along with wellbeing services online. You can order medicine, personal care products, baby products, and other healthcare related products and get them delivered to your place.
The best thing about Bhalothakun is its niche focus, while eCommerce in Bangladesh is getting competitive daily.
Unigigg
Unigigg is an online platform that helps young people [students and recent graduates] acquire skills and connects them with potential employers while also helping employers to find great talents.
The platform, beta testing its service, aims to help young people to find a career they love and employers find people who best fit their organization.
