Grameenphone Launches A Co-branded Smartphone With Maximus

Grameenphone Ltd., in partnership with Maximus, has unveiled the co-branded Maximus P7 Plus for the Bangladesh market to further enable customers to avail 4G services. The 4G enabled smartphone with a large display and brilliant resolution will enable cricket fans to experience the upcoming cricket world cup matches right from the comfort of their hands. The smartphone was introduced at an event today at GP House.

Yasir Azman, Deputy CEO and CMO, Grameenphone along with Sajjad Hasib, Head of Operations, Grameenphone were present at the event as Chief Guests. Tahsan Rahman Khan, Brand Ambassador, Sarder Showkat Ali, Head of Device, Grameenphone were also present there along with other senior officials from both GP and Maximus.

Regarding the event, Yasir Azman, Deputy CEO and CMO, Grameenphone said, “To unleash the potential of digital Bangladesh affordable high-quality smartphone availability is paramount. Mr. Raquibul Kabir, Managing Director of Union Group (which is the parent organization of Maximus Mobile) said Grameenphone and Maximus “share a core value where we always emphasize customer-centric demand. We are introducing a product that is the best configuration-wise in its price band. We are also offering 15 days ELF (Early Life Failure) replacement warranty exclusively for Maximus P7 Plus, keeping the best customer service in mind. Customers can now avail after sales service from all over the country from our nationwide spread up service centers in 64 districts.”

Meanwhile, the GP Cobranded Maximus P7 Plus comes with 5.45-inch big screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and with ultra-clear full view HD+ IPS Infinity Display for the cricket fans to enjoy all the games of the upcoming cricket world cup. Additionally, the smartphone also has 1.3 GHz Quad Processor, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB ROM, 2500 mAh Li-ion battery, Android 8.1(Go edition), and 5-megapixel cameras (front and rear) with dual Xenon flash. This 4G smartphone supporting all 4G network bands, priced at BDT 4,900, is the perfect device for the users who are on the go as it also supports OTG feature.

Moreover, the handset will come with 8GB free 4G internet (valid for 7 days) upon successful tagging. Customers will also be able to purchase and enjoy 2GB (1 GB+1 GB 4G) data pack only at BDT 24. The purchase offer can be availed a maximum of 12 times in 6 months and the validity period for data will be for 7 days. In every month customer can purchase the bundle offer maximum 2 times. Furthermore, for the first time within the industry, Grameenphone is introducing QR code for GP bundle offer opt-in.

The handset will be available at all Grameenphone sales channels across the country.
