Styline Expands, Opens First Retail Outlet In Sylhet

Styline Collection, the modest fashion startup, opened its first retail store in Sylhet last week. This was its second retail outlet outside Dhaka, first one was in Chittagong, and fourth in total. The startup aims to build two more outlets in Dhaka in 2018.

In a blog post, Styline wrote, the new retail expansion will allow the company to build a better relationship with its customers, improve customer experience and build trust in customers.

“When a customer can see a brand physically, it helps in building brand loyalty, and when it’s about lifestyle products where touch and feel is super-gold, you can’t overlook the significance (this is why the name experience store comes, to experience the products, to build the bridge between what you see and what you get when ordering online). The first experience is always long-lasting and this is where our experience stores are playing a very important role. The products we offer, once you feel confident about the materials and feels, the conversion towards purchase becomes so obvious and fast."

Founded in April 2015 by Khobaib Chowdhury, the startup went through Founder Institute, an accelerator program in Dhaka, then MaGIC, an accelerator program supported by Malaysian Government and grew quickly. It sells modest lifestyle products such as hijab, abayas, shrugs, inner caps, dress, and related accessories both online and now offline through its experience hubs in Dhaka, Chittagong, and Sylhet. In the last eleven months, Styline opened 4 outlets all over Bangladesh.
