Grameenphone Accelerator has announced that the program is currently accepting applications for its 5th cohort. Interested startups can apply visiting GP Accelerator website here. The application closes on 7 April 2018.
Launched in October 2015, GP Accelerator offers a four-month-long program to a select batch of 5 startups along with a BDT 12 lakh seed fund each for a 10% equity. Total 21 startups went through the program in four batches.

Application for ScaleUp Bangladesh, a 12-month long investment readiness accelerator programme for Small and Growing Businesses (SGBs), is open now. The program is an initiative of BetterStories Limited, in partnership with IFC and PPCR Bangladesh, and with support from Aavishkar, Grameenphone Accelerator, British Council, PUM.NL and Climate Business Innovation Network.
The programs are looking for viable business that are looking for growth opportunities and investment from a host of sectors with an employee headcount of 5-200.

Application for GSMA Ecosystem Accelerator Innovation Fund 3rd round is open now. The program looks for startups willing to work with mobile operators. It is sector agnostics and open to startups that are using mobile technology to solve local problems in Asia Pacific and Africa.

Flied Buzz, the Dhaka-based technology startup that develops smartphone-based last-mile sales and distribution management solutions, was the first Bangladeshi startup to receive the fund.
