Billion dollar valuation of private companies is no more a new thing. Not even unusual news. According to CB Insight we have 110 startups that are valued $1 Billion and beyond and counting. Given their size and everything these companies are called unicorns.
In Asia, number of unicorns is in the rise as well. We have been seeing companies getting $ 1 billion and greater valuation on a regular interval. This is our attempt to make a separate list of Asian Unicorns-Asian startups that are valued over $1 billion. We used CB Insight as a primary source for the list.
