Future Startup Design Internships

Design is the lens we use to see the world around us. And it makes a lot of difference. They say-only color dictates our decision about anything by a 70% of margin. Design can amplify importance of any message. As we aspire to bring social change and take over the media and commerce and art we are looking for few Graphic Design Interns to help us shape few things at FS and launch a new ambitious project.

As an intern you will be coming in and launching a new project-a big one that we have been thinking of-and will also be assisting us with our regular design works. You will be paid and you will get stock if the project works out at the end. So this is a pretty big deal for us!

Like all of us in the team, we expect you will work hard, sweat, think, think hard, love, fail, learn and make it happen at the end and every weekend, preferably on Thursday Team Meeting [TTM] you will celebrate your experience and your progress with us.

What is Future Startup

WE are a fast growing Media startup based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, our month to month growth is 30%+ and we want to take over few other areas like that of art and commerce. We experiment, we fail, we learn and we do it again. We are a small team but we are making difference everyday. And we believe in the works we are doing.

As a team we work hard, extremely passionate about the work we are doing and we inspire taking initiative and making difference. And yes, we are a distributed team as well which means we work remotely from many places!

The Work and The Process

You will be launching a new project with big biased towards design and also will be assisting us with our regular design work.  We use Google Drive/Dropbox for sharing works and accountability, Skype for meetings and Email for communication and few other tools in between to do few other works!

You will be working with a mentor from FS team and collaborate with him/her throughout your time at FS.

The Time and Schedule

We don’t care how long you work and from where you work. We care work. You have done things that you were about to do. That’s it. There is no fixed office schedule. You will be working from your place but you will keep us posted about your progress and also be religious about meetings.

Weekly Work Hours [WWH]: we expect you to accomplish 30 hours worth of work every week.

Duration: 06 months. Well, if the project works out this will be extended for sure.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for a person regardless of gender, location (within Bangladesh), and race who is passionate about design, art, taking initiative, entrepreneurship, writing, media and business. You have to be a person with excellent work ethic and commitment with a good sense of time/deadline. You have to love the work and maintain a learning attitude. You have to be comfortable with leaving your comfort zone and stepping into new arena. Above all, you have to be passionate about the things we are doing and have to prefer action over words and talks. And a little love for + experience in photography would add extra value.

You don’t have to be a master of design to be eligible for this position but you have to be passionate, hard working and a fast learner.

Caution: We don’t provide any Map and this is an uncharted path. You should have a fair amount of courage to take over the challenge and forge your own path.

Remuneration

  • Stock option in the project you will be working on
  • The payment will be made based on work done (per article/assignment/month) [for the first 06 months)
