In a surprise reorganization and expansion move, WPDeveloper, the Dhaka-based global software company focused on developing products for the WordPress community, announced on 22nd February 2024 at an event held at Dhaka’s Radisson Blu that it would now operate under a new parent company. The move comes as WPDeveloper outgrows its WordPress community identity with the launch of several SaaS products for users outside of the WordPress ecosystem.
WPDeveloper has experienced phenomenal growth over the last several years. The company says it serves over 6 million users spanning across 180+ countries. The new parent company, called Startise, will now oversee five different companies including WPDeveloper.
The other four companies include Templately, xCloud, easy.jobs, and Storeware. Each of the businesses has seen significant growth over the last few years.
Each company plays a unique role, collectively shaping a landscape of innovation and efficiency in their respective domains.
The company says the reorganization and forming of a parent company arose because WPDeveloper has long outgrown its current identity and aims to expand into new territories.
M Asif Rahman, Founder and Chairman of Startise, said “Not a traditional brand, we envision a group that will foster innovation, and growth, and have the potential to stand tall globally.”
Nazmul Hasan Rupok, Founder and Managing Director, said, “As Startise, the parent company, we embark on a journey to nurture diverse ventures, shaping the future across the tech landscape and beyond. I'm truly excited for this new chapter of our innovation with my cherished team, filled with enthusiasm and anticipation”.
