TrademarkNow, a Helsinki-based startup, that provides an intelligent web-based trademark management platform, has raised a €3-million in a fresh round of investment from a host of investors including Karma Ventures, Balderton Capital and Montiko GmbH. Previously, the startup raised money from Lifeline Ventures, Finnish taxpayer-funded Tekes, and various angel investors.
In simple, the startup offers an automated online tool that enables users to search trademark and run risk analysis helping companies, law firms, and branding agencies significantly reduce the costs and time to stay on top of potential trademark infringements. It allows users to check trademark-related issues before introducing new names or brands and also helps to determine how likely a successful trademark application will be.
Founded in 2012, the company claims that “its service is used by enterprise companies, law firms, and branding agencies for instant trademark clearance and watch results”.
