Ecommerce Startup Akhoni Rebrands To Bagdoom.com

Akhoni.com, one of the earliest ecommerce startups in Bangladesh, has re-branded to Bagdoom.com. Now on, the company will be focusing more in building a complete lifestyle shop by putting together best collections from local international brands.

Akhoni started its journey back in 2010 and is one of the earliest ecommerce startups in the country. The startup experimented with things like deal coupons and more and received quite good response from the market but it was little early in the market. However, things are changing fast.

Bangladesh ecommerce industry has been seeing a steep growth in recent time. Given the population and pace of  the growth of internet and mobile penetration, Bangladesh is a huge market for ecommerce. However, the market is increasingly becoming competitive with new players entering the market at regular intervals.
