Startups are all about founders. Ability and skills of a founder influence the fate of a startup to a great extent. Early stage startups regularly valued based on its founders. Investors often claim that they invest in people not in idea. A great idea is nothing without great execution and to execute well you need people. Furthermore, startups are different than other organizations. It takes lot more hard work, attention and it requires a whole different combination of capabilities.
There is no hard-and-fast formula to say what makes a founder tick. However, Paul Graham of Y Combinator put together a list of qualities in his 2010 article titled 'what we look for in founder', that illustrates what makes a great startup founder. Recently we took time to go back to PG's article and turned it into an infographic.
