Hello everyone,
We’re back with 2023’s first FS Talk, a Future Startup’s flagship entrepreneurial lecture series. We’re hosting the virtual Talk on 28 January 2023. The event will feature a talk by Shuttle Co-founder & CEO Reyasat Chowdhury.
Registration is open now. While FS Talk is a free event, it is invite-only. Please register to get an invitation. You can register here.
FS Talk is a small, friendly gathering of entrepreneurs, change-makers, doers, and artists from a wide range of backgrounds, where we get together to talk about all things entrepreneurship, building things, trials and tribulations of entrepreneurial journeys, and meet each other and share ideas and opportunities.
Creation is a lonely job. It gets easier when you have a community to share and unburden from time to time.
FS Talk features two segments: a lecture + Q&A, followed by networking opportunities. Towards the end of every month, we invite a fascinating speaker, usually a fellow maker, to share their hard-earned wisdom on a timely topic with us.
Reyasat Chowdhury is the Co-founder & CEO of Shuttle, a fascinating Dhaka-based transport-tech company making daily commutes convenient and affordable for middle-income people, especially women, in Bangladesh. The company has done tremendous work over the last few years and raised meaningful investments from a number of prominent investors. Reyasat was named in Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2022 list. Reyasat is also an Ambassador at One Young World and a Global Shaper at World Economic Forum. He has been building Shuttle from scratch into a million-dollar valued company over the past 5 years. Reyasat has created employment for over 100+ service professionals.
Reyasat has seen every shade of building an early-stage company in Bangladesh and has a fascinating story to share. You can read our coverage of Shuttle here.
Format: The talk will be mostly informal discussions. However, having a structure is always useful. We'll follow a rough format:
