What we do?
We are on a mission to inspire and equip people to make impact by taking initiative. We empower StartUp Entrepreneurs (Young & Small) to make their initiatives a success through resources (Information, Knowledge, Consultancy, Couching, Speaking, writing, and Training). We believe that everyone with passion and dedication can be a successful entrepreneur if they find right direction and consultation.
Why we care?
3 simple reasons:
To be economically competitive at global stage a country ideally needs at least 2% of its population being subjected as entrepreneur. Unfortunately, Bangladesh only has a fraction of that. At Future StartUp our aim is to inspire young and small entrepreneurship to break this stagnation and to bring prosperity.
In Bangladesh getting information is still a great impediment on the way to making things happen. Lack of platforms for taking and facilitating initiative is one of the critical reasons behind problems like, poverty and youth unemployment. We want to bring changes by making information available and by building platforms for making changes happen.
Starting something is becoming easier because of easy availability of technology whereas making something successful is becoming more difficult due to clutter of creation. In this crowded world of initiatives, to be successful only creating something is not enough but creating something remarkable is.

Why did you create FS?
Mostly because we’re curious, we want to make things happen, we want to inspire start-ups, we want to inspire people to take initiative, we want to help people to make things happen, start-up and be successful with their venture. Moreover, we have a lot of questions: why we have too little amount of entrepreneurs in Bangladesh? What it takes to start something? Why people are afraid of starting up? What it takes to build a world class company? Or Why do people start? Where does that desire to make things happen come from? How do internal and external forces influence making things happen? What drives someone to continue starting, even when it involves taking a big risk?
Future StartUp is our attempts to explore answers to those questions by digging things deeper, by studying successful and failed start-ups, by asking people about their own experiences and hearing their stories. We’ve chosen to make FS a combination of information, knowledge, and inspiration for the people who have passion to start-up and make things happen.
How do you write articles?
We have a habit of doing things right! We always try to keep our write-ups authentic, original, relevant and useful to our readers. We basically focus on research, experience and learning.
Who writes all these stuffs?
We have a hell lot curious & creative team (growing rapidly) who manages to write things here. And we also take contribution from successful entrepreneurs and people from all walks of life.
Can anybody contribute to FS?
Well, it depends. However, if you think you have a killing idea or if you want to contribute to FS please check our Be a Contributor page and play accordingly.
How do you choose people to interview?
There’s no particular process or standard criteria. Normal rule is: we interview people who have made things happen (entrepreneurs of any kind). Along with that we often choose people who have inspired us in some way, people whose work we have admired, or people who are doing something that resonates with us. We also want to hear from our readers. If you know someone we must interview please let us know; email us or fill this form out (precaution: most of the time we don’t accept self suggestions, however if you have a valid reason go ahead, we are good!).
What is your publishing schedule?
That’s quite a problem. We try to post three articles per week, but schedule often does not work. We typically publish one interview per month. Want a reminder? Sign up for our email newsletter, like us on Facebook.
Do you provide any consultancy service or any other service to start-up or any interested party?
We want to! However, right now we only help with a limited version of idea generation service! you can call kind of brain storming service, sometimes for free, sometimes with charge. If you have a real problem and want to have some weird ideas let us know (fill this form out and shoot us an email)!
